Gee -David and I both going to a CCC and NOT getting a baseline TSH- makes you wonder. Luckily I did get a very complete baseline hearing test sitting in the sound proof booth with pure tone tests. It was funny watching the examiner hide her lips while saying words against a noisy background so that I could not cheat on the speech recognition part. But that had nothing to do with my CCC, instead it was just a throw-away by my penultimate ENT who just could not diagnose the cause of my ear pain.
But there appear to far less (if any at all) hearing issues associated with
Erbitux, unlike the platinum-based poisons (oops, I mean chemotherapy)
