Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,676 | Hi, Stoj- John's surgeries were in a hospital 3 + hrs. away by car.He was in the hospital 5 days the 1st time and 6 days the 2nd time. Both surgeries were extensive. The most nerve wracking part for us was being so far away from his Doctor after we got home. But I got direct line phone #'s to call if we got in trouble. You should too. Amy
