Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | Sounds like you might have fluid buildup behind the ear drum. It's not always accompanied by pain. That happened to me a few weeks ago. Ask your ENT to take a look - they can see it with an otoscope and maybe give you a weeks worth of prednisone to reduce the inflammation. Prednisone is some nasty stuff though - beware of radical but temporary personality changes!
