I wouldn't count too much on 6 months. It's been over a year since the neck dissection and the sharing my tongue with a scalpel and I still have some swelling. The pain is pretty constant but bearable. I hope and pray you are out of the swelling in 2 or 3 months Dianne. You have had enough punishment from our buddy OC. That isn't Oscar Creepy either. My worst pain is from the Rad Seed Implants and maybe I blame it on every thing else.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
