Welcome to the young with oral cancer club. I am 23 and just finished treatments at the end of July. After my biopsy I had a PET scan and then surgery, followed by radiation and chemo. I'm sorry you are part of this group now, but I'm glad you found the site! The people here are really helpful and you can find a lot of information as well. Keep us posted on what treatment path they decide.
Stephanie, 23, SCC on the right side of my tongue, surgery on 5-19-08, over half my tongue removed, free flap constructed from my forearm, bilateral neck dissection, one positive node. Radiation (32) and chemo (carboplatin) started on 6-16-08. Recurrence 4/09 in lungs.
