I didn't know this either. I've been reading nothing but oral cancer material for my Aunt Ro for the last three years and I took it for granted that the SCC mets in her lymph node was from an oral primary. SCC of the lung is one of the three subtypes of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). We'll find out more when she returns from her doctor visit. Also, she has lots more testing ahead of her.
