Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Finally got the PetScan today. Actually it is the easiest Scan there is to me. This is my 4th one at least. The hardest part is to sit for 45 minutes while the dye goes thru your system. The time in the tunnel is only about 20 minutes or so. I will post whenever my Dr calls me with the results. Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
