Danny: You have been a big inspiration to me. I haven't been on this website for a while - my computer died & I lost my password. However, you have been on my mind and I have wondered how you were doing. You have been very open about sharing your feelings & experiences and it has helped me understand my brother's experience. Thank you so much for sharing.
I wish I could say my brother is doing well but he isn't. LIke you, he has had a reoccurence. Like you, he has not responded well to the chemo. He isn't yet on palliative care, but it is just a matter of time. He made it just a little over two & a half years (he was stage IV, tongue cancer) before he developed lung cancer. You are a very special person and you have dealt with this horrible disease with grace and you have helped us caregivers understand a bit more what you and our loved ones are going thru. Thank you, Candace, sister of a beloved brother who had stage IV tongue cancer, now has stage III-b lung cancer
