The doctor they interviewed felt that the research was promising and felt it would be applicable for all types of cancer. Naturally, the patient who came up with the radiowaves treatment was hoping to push the human trials up because his options were becoming more restricted. Although on the surface what was televised was quite impressive, I'm sure it will need much more investigation before it becomes a viable form of treatment...but if it does prove to a valid tool, it will be a wonderful treatment option that is considerably less damaging to healthy cells..or so they believe.
Cancer of Tongue, SCC early Stage 1, Dx 3/13/07, partial glossectomy 4/14/07 found no residual carcinoma and a granular cell tumor with pseudo epitheliomatous hyperplasia.
