I echo what has been said above. I made the mistake of getting my first PET report before seeing the doctor (this was about 3 months post treatment) -- I thought I was doomed. Went to see my ENT/Oncologist and he said nothing to worry about, RO and MO said the same thing. Repeat scan at 5 months showed much like yours -- reduced SUV at 1 location, disappeared at another, stayed the same at another.

I rely more on the clinical picture from my primary oncologist/surgeon, my RO and my MO. Now I see the RO every 3 months, and the MO and ENT have just changed from 3 months to 4 months. I stagger the appointments, so that I do not go more than 4-6 weeks between appointments. I have a Chest X Ray about 2 or 3 times a year, and I think the plan is now for an annual or semi-annual PET scan.

I understand the anxiety, but your situation is really very normal. There are lots of threads on this in the forum if you do a search - very common situation. Hang in there!
