I had a nurse with me constantly while getting the 1st 2 IVS before they started the Erbitux. She kept monitoring my reaction and made sure I was Ok. I forget what the 1st 2 consisted of, but as soon as they were finished she started the Erbitux and I was fine with it. It took 4 1/2 hrs the 1st time and was told from now on it will take 1 1/2 hrs.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
