Lolita,
I get spasms through out my neck. I continue to go to massage therapy for my "wooden neck" which does help temporarily. I bought a little cheap vibrating massager for home and use it when I watch TV, seems to help a little to.
I was 20+ year smoker and at the end, before I quit, I was up to 2pks a day. I had tried many times to quit before and failed. When the Dr looked at me and told me I had cancer, I knew that I had probably brought it on myself. I knew all the dangers but continued anyway. I didn't quit that day, I finished the pack I had while I contemplated my life. Then looked at my son's face and knew that I had to do anything I could to spend as much time with him as I could. It wasn't easy by no means!! I approached it as I'm not smoking today. I had to change some lifestyle trigger habits for a while, but now I can drink a cup of coffee today without thinking about a cigarette. I still miss it from time to time, but it does get easier.
Whatever your motivation, start with not smoking the next cigarette...
Tim
