Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 32 | No pain meds . . .yet. You are right, he did not want to know much about the surgery etc. I am totally the opposite so I have to stop opening my mouth. Sometimes the effects may not even materialize so you can get all worked up for nothing. I just have to stop worrying so much because I can't always fix things, but I can sure as heck give it a try!

Mandibular ressection, flap replacement and bilateral neck dissection 10/25/07. Two nodes cancerous, others clear.
Started IRMT 12/17/07 (34) and ERBITUX ( 6). 7/17/08 cancer returned neck and shoulder area. Passed on peacefully surrounded by love on 9/15/08. And yes, he did see angels. . .
