Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | Just a sidebar - Some people barely react (mild sunburn effect) to radiation and others have a severe reaction (2nd degree burns). Mine took on the persona of a moderate sunburn, complete with peeling - no big deal. My understanding is that if you have fair skin you will react worse to the radiation. It did kill all of the hair folicles in the radiation field so I no longer have to shave my neck (it also "corrected" my snoring problem permanently - much to my wifes delight).
We all respond differently to treatment.
