I wish that they would tell us just how difficult and frustrating the post tx's can be.  I can tell you from my experience, there are good days and bad ones.  What we are going through now are good hours and not so good.  I use a lot of positive thinking, I try to fins apositive spin in everything.  It's not easy sometimes.  Then....when I get alone and jump on here I cry and vent, or like my last one, I celebrate.   My mom has a very strong sense of being.  I know if it's up to her, she'll get through all this. Donna CG to Mom, dx 4/25/07 with tongue cancer,T3N0,tx began 7/6/07, 31 tx's of IMRT, 8 cycles of Erbitux. Brachytherapy, surgery, left neck dissection and temp trach placed all on 9/17/07, trach removed 10/17/07. ORN of jaw, late effect of radiation symptoms. **lost my beautiful mother on 5/5/11.
