Sorry I should have given a better description, under your tongue in the floor of the mouth two major salivary glands the sublingual or sometimes called submandibular glands. The ducts that allow the saliva to enter the mouth are located under the tonge where it meets the floor of the mouth. These can be palpated in most individual as large roundish, semisolid fixated "lumps" under the tongue.
