I have been told as a result of a post Tx hearing test that I have some permanent high frequency hearing loss. It's not bad enough to require hearing aids but I can notice it. I was told it was from the cisplatin. If he had any ringing in his ears during chemo my MO told me that was damage taking place. Of course he didn't share that tidbit of info with me until after I complained about hearing problems. He also told me that despite my test results my hearing may improve.
