Hi Fred, I'm so happy that you're a survivor, I guess you could say I am one also but I'm a bit of a pessamist so not counting my chickens just yet..smiles... I have had cancer of the larynx the only treatment I had was 20 doses of radiation during the summer months of 2005. Since then I have been given the all clear for 7 check ups. I have go once a month for a year.
I just want to add something to your earlier post of "Its not so much the smoke or flavoring it is individual habits such a smoking and drinking that cause oral cancer"
All I want to say is I have never smoked in my life and neither does my immediate family and the only drinking (alcohol)I do is a couple of glasses at Christmas. Yet I got oral cancer.
Good luck on returning to work, just take it slow as I found when I returned to work I still got very tired and was going to bed by 8pm still do now sometimes.
