His surgery was last June. His cancer originated in his epiglottis. Had 2 or 3 lymphnodes removed. He went through this horrific surgery. Radical neck dissection. The radiation. Peg tube. Not being able to swallow any solid food. The mucus is still there. I am just wondering if there is anyone else that had their epiglottis removed and if so can you eat?? My husband goes for therapy from time to time to see if anything has improvedbut it hasnt. I am just wondering if there is anyone else out there with these problems. He is skin and bones. He does take ensure thru the tube. Any help will be appreciated. The dr.'s here are not very informative. Well thanks for listening. I hope there is someone else like my husband Joe that could give some encouragement. Roseanne | | |
