They think it is from a nerve. His cancer had eaten into and wrapped around several nerves before it was removed. He was on a medicine that had a heavy Tylenol base, but they didn't want to use it any more because of possible liver damage down the line. This past week I noticed him holding his face and head quite often, then Saturday he would just have to lay face down on the bed and hold his head in his hands. He has a very high pain tolerance and he said on a scale of 1-10 it was an 8 - so for me, who just has a normal pain tolerance, it would have been at least a 20 on that 10 point scale. Anyway, I think he will get the shot today maybe.
