Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,384 Likes: 1 | Sheldon, You might ask to try Nystatin swish (perhaps you have already) It is more of a contact anti-thrush rather than a systemic treatment like Diflucan. Nystatin always works for me. (yes I still need it maybe once a month)
Larger doses of Diflucan can be a bit hard on the liver whereas the Nystatin swish seems to have few side effects (they give it to babies)

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
