Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: May 2002 Posts: 2,152 | I was at my prosthodontist yesterday and asked him how you go about finding someone like him in your area for a second opinion. He said to look for a maxillofacial prosthodontist, preferably one who is also a dental oncologist. He suggested contacting the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center which is in Seatle to see if they could refer you to someone. He also suggested trying major cancer centers in California. If all that fails and you want more info on my guy, let me know, but we are in NJ.
