I am not an attorney, so take this with a grain of salt, but I do work as a management consultant with dental practices and I help them set up their businesses, medical plans, policy manuals, etc. You are still a full time employee while you are on a medical leave therefore you are still entitled to your benefits, and even if your treatment extended beyond the 90 day period of full pay and benefits, there is always the option of COBRA for your medical insurance.
