I insisted that because of my "compromised immune system" that I couldn't sit in waiting room with all of the "sick" people - I would wait in the car and they would have to come and get me. The State of California people were pretty sympathetic - who knows? I would try again. Like your husband, there is no way I could have worked for a long time - I deserved SSDI and so does he.
