The others are right.....what you need to do is make sure your sister lets it drip in very slow and try to keep her mind busy while eating. TV is probably the very best distraction at feeding time. Also, another thing that maybe wasn't mentioned.....make sure your sister does not lay down for at least an hour after the feeding is completed. That, also, can cause severe nausea, not to mention create other problems. Compazine, if she can take it works great for nausea. Give it time, and take it slow. It's a hard thing to get used to, I know, but soon it will become second nature, and won't seem so bad. Good luck, and many prayers to you and your sister!
