Sarah, I'm posting to the above question- but in a different circumstance than cancer-altho it topic related. When I had a fairly major stroke several years ago, I lost the site in one eye, and was totally disorientated for 5 to 6 months. 6 weeks of all kinds of tests, on strong meds, couldn't drive, couldn't think, couldn't remember squat, couldn't cook or gro.shop. My husband was my primary caregiver, took care of our grandson who lives with us,took care of 3 pets, ran the household as well as our business. My 60 yr. old brother recently was the major caretaker for his wife for 5 months while the Docs tried to figure out what was causing disabling pain and disorientation in her brain. There are many men who are wonderful caregivers. I am sure you will hear from some here. Amy
