Hi, I'm new, so not sure if this is the right place to ask. This is a great website and fantastic resource, I'm in the UK and I can't find anything like it locally. My dad was diagnosed with tongue cancer in Fall 1993 and treated with Radio and Chemo therapy but no surgery - for all those of you fighting cancer now take faith that it is over 12 years on and he is cancer free - but the downside (apart from his constant water glass with his gunky salvia on!) is his jaw is in such a terrible state that he is due to have jaw replacement surgery. He is on antibiotics pretty much all the time now and since Feb this year has had continuous abcesses. We know that they will take bone and possibly blood and muscle from one of his legs but no more than that....does anyone have any experience of this?
