I am fairly new to the boards-- I discovered you angels about a week ago. Since then, I have been reading and reading all old posts and discovering some wonderful advice, information, and just uplifting feelings from people who have been through what my dad is going through right now. As I did internet searches, I found it difficult to find much info. about SCC-- with the exception of the same description/statistics that show up on almost every cancer site. I, as many state, had never heard of SCC before embarking on this journey with my dad. I would love to raise awareness and spark more attention towards a cure. I have read about the walk in Virginia and it sounds great! I would love to start something similar here in Michigan, but I know that with young children I can't go it alone. Is there anyone on the forum that is in Michigan or Northern Ohio that may be interested in doing this with me? Thanks!
