He hasn't had a neck dissection. This is a possibility that he may face in the future. He just finished radiation and chemo about 3 weeks ago and I am just concerned because his neck and underneath the chin are very hard to the touch. I guess we'll just have to wait to see what the doctors tell us. I just wanted to find out if it could be due to the radiation or is it probably still residual tumor. He was told that he had extensive disease in the neck so I just wanted to see if it could be something else other than the cancer.
