Jack,
Right on brother! You are a great, unselfish guy, and you are doing a fabulous job dealing with so many problems and so much stress. Noone here minds anyone venting, and we certainly don't consider it whining. Of all the caregivers that have written in here, you are one of the most self-sacrificing, caring folks that I have ever heard of. Most of us are cared for by family members or partners, and , I want to add, most of us have not had the trials and tribulations of that Eric has had to deal with ( and you along with him ).
You are to be commended. Keep up the wonderful work. I know that you will feel better in time.
