My husband had the same surgery back in October and was very sore as well. The doctor told us that it just takes time for the muscle tissue to heal. He was sore for over a week. The good news is it will get better and now that he is well into his treatments we are very glad to have it. Hang in there and good luck with your chemo and radiation!!
