These people are nurses and are usually assigned based on their being somewhat familiar with the cancer you are dealing with. We have had 2-from 2 different Ins. Companies and both have helped us validate claims so they would be paid. I don't use them for medical advice, but I do use them to substantiate drugs, tube feed nutrients, at home medical equipment and supplies. It cuts down on the arguements we have with the Ins. co. Be nice to them at the get go and they will usually be of great help. Amy
