There is never the 'right' time for one you love to leave this world. Remember that your mother was a gift from God in the beginning, and you are here to help her find her way to her true home. God loves you all, and He will not abandon you in this time of need. We will support you with prayers and whatever words we can summon to ease your pain.
When Tom's mother was fighting so hard to stay with us despite her pains, we had to let her know that we would be OK, and that she could rest. It was very difficult, but we do treasure those last prayerful months with her - she was a lady to the end and we know her peace is now endless.
