Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 458 | Gwen, thinking about doing plastic surgery for the scar from the second neck dissection. Guess the doc was in a hurry when he closed and didn't do a very nice staple job, left a beaut of a bump. But, want to wait for a couple of years or two to see if this is really over with. Regular ENT wasn't too pleased when he saw it.
Plus, don't know if that would be covered by the health insurance, so need to save up for that one.

SCC Tongue, stage IV diagnosed Sept, 2002, 1st radical neck dissection left side in Sept, followed by RAD/Chemo. Discovered spread to right side nodes March 2003, second radical neck dissection April, followed by more RAD/Chemo.
