My husband completed RAD on August 23, 2002. He was treated for right side tonsil cancer with one node on the right side. Two weeks ago he had a modified radical neck dissectomy. The doctors are very pleased with the outcome and say he is cancer free at this time. He is s confused till complaining of a sore throat and a sore area on the left side of his tongue. I don't know if I am not ready to feel safe yet or should I be concerned that his tongue is sore?
