Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 378 | Hi Jordan, Jack had the ear pain too from radiation. He had swelling in his throat for several months after treatment ended but it got better. If they haven't already told you this it's common to have areas "light up" from swelling on the first PET scan. It actually took 3 for Jack to get an all clear report. Regards JoAnne
