I STRONGLY encourage you and Marvin to get some antidepressant meds now, rather than later. They take a couple of weeks to have an effect, and if you are in the throes of depression, those two weeks can seem like an eternity.

I was always an optimistic person too, and the whole treatment ordeal left me profoundly depressed. I don't know how I would have gotten through it without some medical help.

Radiation is cumulative, both in effect, and the intensity of side effects. Don't be too upset that things haven't changed dramatically...they will change.
