I just found out my sister-in-law has leukoplakia lasered off of her tongue a couple of weeks ago and the oral surgeon told her to not worry about it. She emailed me the path report and it clearly said "dysplasia, mild, with hyperkeratosis" and recommended removing any lesion that was not removed and very close long term follow up. That seems a bit more than don't worry about it. I know I am a bit paranoid but I pushed her towards seeing an ENT that has significant experience treating oral cancer for follow up and a second opinion. My fear is that they did not confirm clear margins and don't have the required knowledge to properly diagnose her. Anyway, she has an appointment Monday to at least calm my fears.

I'm sure my cough is just some of the bugs going around here. I hope I didn't worry anybody.
