Had the annual chest X-ray today and the tech did several retakes. After one of them, I peeked around the corner and saw her put it up on the viewer. I saw a large white mass near the bottom of one lung. Hmm. Got to worrying, but wondered why, if I have something that large, I was able less than a month ago to do a long, uphill run with a dog at 6,500 feet elevation and only be breathing a little fast. Worried about this for the 85 mile trip home. Told my husband who asked me to draw a picture of where the mass was. Then he began to laugh. That is exactly where my PEG was, and is most certainly the scar tissue. Duh!So even though I have practiced a policy of not borrowing trouble, I find that even I am not immune. May all your test results be as benign!
