That said, you can drive yourself crazy really quickly worrying about "stuff" and self diagnosing based on statistics and study results.
On an individual level, they mean nothing. Each person, each circumstance is unique and need to be examined within context, not as confirmation of a trend identified in a study.

When reading them, remember always that they are drawing conclusions based on significant numbers of cases, and they are by their nature very general in terms of the tesults achieved.
There are many things than cause sores and discomfort in your mouth and throat besides cancer. Always remember it isn't cancer until pathology says it is. Check it out certainly, but don't panic over it
