My mother was diagnosed with tongue cancer at 32 about 20 years ago. However my mom's was more aggressive and fatal. I was diagnosed with tongue cancer at 34 but I had this "spot" since I was 33. Neither of us smoked, drank much and we were both in our early thirties when we got it. I am fortunate- mine is Stage 1 and my prognosis is good. My Dr. expects a full recovery since it did not spread anywhere and there where no lymph node involvement.
We will pray for your family and hope for a good outcome.
Female, 36 yrs. old. Stage 1 tongue cancer; no lymph nodes; surgery & radiation
