I've been zapped more or less around the trachea a couple of times, and if the weather is dry, or there's a lot of pollution (a normal occurance here) I get the same sort of hoarse dry throat. One of those fun environmental thing. But, to get the worry out, keep the appointment and get checked over anyway.
Contgrats on the pregnancy, by the way, at least that's a GOOD adventure.

SCC Tongue, stage IV diagnosed Sept, 2002, 1st radical neck dissection left side in Sept, followed by RAD/Chemo. Discovered spread to right side nodes March 2003, second radical neck dissection April, followed by more RAD/Chemo.
