Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,384 Likes: 1 | Ok, I don't want any flack for admitting that I watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, However last night the show had an 80 year old grandfather visit the subject's apartment. THE NEAT thing was his visable radical neck scar and clear indication that he was a survivor at 80! 
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
