You're still at the point where there's a lot of healing going on. The lymphatic drainage problems and mucus can hang around for months. Some people here have had success with physical therapy massage that's targeted at the areas of fluid buildup (if you search the site on those terms, you should find more details about this).
Dry mouth can also be a long-term issue, but the extent of it varies widely depending on the specific nature of the treatment. What are you using now for mouthwash and/or medication for dry mouth? Again, if you search this site for dry mouth, you'll find tons of posts about experiences with it.
