Hello,
Like I said I'm 2 months out from radiation. I'm stage 4 SCC and had a tumor at the base of my tongue. I get a pet scan in a couple of weeks at UofM Hospital Michigan. My throat is healing but still sore. It seems I'm getting fluid collecting in my neck from damage to the lymph nodes in my neck. Does that absorb itself or do I need something done about it? I have thick mucus at the back of my throat (where the tumor was) does that dry up at some time? Is that just part of the healing? I'm sure I'll have more questions, but I'm glad I found this board...thank you all. Bob
