Thank you for reaching out to help me and hoply becoming a friend. Here are a few answers to the questions you ask.
1) I am having surgery at the university of tennessee ( Department of oral & maxillofacial surgery ).BY DR Eric R.Carson,DMD,MD.oral surgery and oral cancer is all that he deals with.
2)No I have not had a second opinion. he told me that they were'nt anyother opp but surgery. Do you think I should get one. I am scared that if I wait to long talking to other DR's that my cancer will spread worse and they will have to remove more of my face.he said that it had done gotten into the bone thats why I have to have surgery instead of just treatment any thoughts on that?
3)As far as post surgery tx he did'nt say but I will ask him when I see him tue when he talks to me about the results of my PET/CT scan.
