Right now you don't know for sure that the other lesions are cancerous, since they haven't been biopsied, so don't make yourself feel worse based on your gut reaction. However, it sounds like the doctors you've seen so far have only one weapon (surgery), and that's not always the best approach to dealing with this disease. A cancer team (knowledgeable about surgery, radiation and chemo) can do the best job of pre-testing the nature of what's there now and recommending the course of treatment to deal with it.
