Peace - because so much information will be coming at you I found it very helpful to take a tape recorder to my father's consultations. Not once did a doctor say "no" when I asked if I could tape the conversation.
Father SCC Stage IV dx 04.06; tx started 6/06 (triple bypass surgery 4/06) IMRTx39 cisplatin & 5FU; recur dx 01/12; 01/18 told surgery not an option (2 ENT opinions); Erbitux started 01.22.07;dad passed 01.25.07.
