Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 34 | Lisa , I too was diagnosed with stage 1 scc and I had 28 treatments of radiation not IMRT but regular sunburn type. I still have no voice but I made it! I went form no side effect to begging for mercy after the 4th week. It has been 3 1/2 weeks since my last treatment. I hope your husband gets better soon! You are in good hands! Tony
