Hello,

My name is Brad. I was diagnosed with HPV positive cancer in 2018. How I even discovered that I had cancer is quite miraculous, perhaps I’ll share that later. After a radical Tonsillectomy on the left side things seem to be great and I learned to swallow, my voice returned to near normal. Nearly 7 years later, I discovered swelling on the right side of my neck. The CT scan just revealed that I have a mass on my Nasopharynx.

Has anyone in this chat experienced the left and right radical tonsillectomy? My only concern is the recovery. I’m sure it all depends on the size and the exact location of the tumor. It would be tough to live on a feeding tube and not be able to speak. But God is good and I will trust him regardless of the outcome.

Also, I would love to hear someone else’s experiences with first bite syndrome.

Thanks!
